The mission of Good Samaritan Community Health, Inc. (GSCH) is to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. GSCH provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support to individuals in need within our community and around the world, sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. As part of this mission, GSCH established an outpatient medical clinic to provide low-income individuals with access to primary healthcare services, regardless of their ability to pay. The clinic delivers high-quality, cost-efficient, and compassionate care to all, regardless of religion, creed, race, or national origin, including charity care as resources allow.
GSCH’s primary activity is the operation of medical clinics in Miami and Naranja, Florida. Since September 2007, these clinics have provided charitable healthcare services to individuals without medical insurance whose income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines.Patients are charged on a sliding fee scale based on family size and income. Approximately 95% of patients served fall within this income range, resulting in fees that are significantly lower than the value of services provided. On average, the clinics serve approximately 200 patients per month.Since August 2011, GSCH has also conducted short-term medical mission trips to underserved communities, primarily in Nicaragua and other regions of Latin America. These missions provide free medical care, medications, and supplies to individuals in remote rural areas, along with donated clothing and essential items. In addition to direct medical services, GSCH has supported charitable initiatives through grants to organizations serving vulnerable populations. These efforts include support for orphan care, housing development, and educational assistance programs for underserved children and families.GSCH also provides assistance to the poor, distressed, and underprivileged through its broader outreach efforts.
